Creative Roots Landscaping
We knew this shoot needed to showcase the craftsmanship of Creative Roots’ Landscape at a premium level. To match that, we brought out our best gear and techniques to ensure every detail was captured with intention and quality.

We used the latest Sony CinemaLine FX3, paired with anamorphic cinema lenses for a cinematic widescreen look that elevates the footage with a rich, high-end aesthetic.
Audio
Clean, professional sound was captured using XLR mics and 32-bit float audio from Deity and Rode, allowing for wide dynamic range and virtually eliminating the risk of clipping, even with that harsh wind.
Lighting
Outdoor lighting is often ignored, but we treated this like a commercial set. A diffusion scrim softened harsh sunlight, while a color-calibrated COB light ensured consistent, flattering tones aligned with our camera profiles.
The result is footage that feels premium, polished, and intentional, just like your work.

We utilize subtractive saturation to maintain rich, natural tones without digital harshness, and apply our custom-built film emulation LUT, inspired in part by Kodak 2383, to create a timeless, cinematic color profile.
Every shot is manually color graded in DaVinci Resolve Studio, leveraging tools like log-to-linear transforms, luminance-keyed tonal adjustments, and precision skin tone isolation to ensure visual harmony across the entire edit.

We want their audience to forget they’re watching a video and fall in love like they’re watching a movie, the look should be expensive and high end to reflect Creative Roots’ image so there’s no questioning who they should pick for their next high-end landscape job, that is, if you’ll choose to accept them.
