Love Story

Our closest friends and family know the real story of how we met, so I’ll spare the dirty details and skip to the engagement.

Nick and I planned the dreamiest trip to New York for the beginning of August 2022 - 11 days jammed packed with the ultimate tourist activities. We spent months researching things to do, places to see, and food to eat. Let me clarify that when I say “we” planned, I really mean that “I” planned this trip… except for 1 day in particular that Nick insisted he planned. This was not suspicious at all.

August 3rd, we got up early and headed to a little ferry downtown that would take us across the water and into Brooklyn. We got off of the ferry and walked maybe 10 steps before I saw a man randomly taking photos of the New York skyline .. once again, not suspicious at all :)

A few steps later and Nick was on his knee proposing - neither of us remember what was said during this moment but I’m sure it was romantic. Following the engagement, we facetimed all of our loved ones to celebrate, had the most amazing brunch with many margaritas, went to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, and then ended the night bar hopping and soaking in all of NY city’s nightlife.

Parking: There is on-site parking available for up to 100 vehicles. Vehicles are able to stay on-site overnight in order to ensure guest safety. Vehicles must be retrieved the next morning by 11:00am.
No recreational drugs on site (including cannabis). There is a designated spot for the use of cigarettes and cigars.
We are extremely fortunate to have a lot of our necessities already and do not feel like we require a registry for additional gifts. Your presence at our wedding is truly already enough, however, we will have a card box for anyone who would like to contirubte monetary gifts towards our future honeymoon :)
We have worked really hard to create an intimate celebration that includes all of our closest family members and friends so we ask that you come solo unless we have specified otherwise on your invitation.
We will have complimentary champagne throughout the day, wine with dinner, and a couple extra surprises throughout the night. There will also be a fully stocked bar at your disposal with all drinks priced at $2 (sorry but no shots for sale). Bring your toonies!!!
We will be having an unplugged ceremony as we will have both a photographer and videographer on-site capturing the day. Please put your phones away and on silent for this portion of the event.
We ask that you wear formal/semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress or dressy separates for women and a suit and tie for men. Somethings to consider are: Bridal Party dresses are olive green and the ceremony is on grass.
